Not every storm chase results in a stellar storm. But most chases /can/ result in a stellar scene. This was taken on our way back from a busted chase in extreme eastern Wyoming. The storms fizzled, but they left just enough of a gap on the western horizon for the sun to burst through. We pulled over and timed it perfectly, lining the stellar skies up with this awesome International Scout left in a field. These are the types of things that you take note of while scouting around your home turf, just in case such a photogenic opportunity presents itself
