Because Godzilla, the original film, was a metaphor for the atomic bomb, made by the only people to ever experience the horrific destruction of the weapons firsthand. Β Hence the quote being added to Godzilla.

I think this new installment to the series will help solidify that statement. I mean, last time we say him, he blew an entire asteroid to pieces. He's had ten years to rest since then, the horror he can unleash are limitless!
