Description I decided that I was projecting myself an emo with [link] so to lighten the mood and give a call to all to spread the love, here is my entry to the Crestock comp round 2. The theme was a choice from a selection of stock images and I chose the camera as a focused theme.

Phew... 10hrs straight, no reference (cept the camera), all by hand. Sleep deprivation setting in. The characters are all out of proportion. I have the claw (damn tablet...they dont warn you about idiots pushing themselves too hard) I got this in just in time. I literally started at midnight and worked on it til now.

There's a lot thats inspired me to complete this pic. The most obvious is the fact that the lyrics to I'm in the mood for love is directly pasted in. The set up was kinda of Tarantino-ish with multiple threads/stories told in one pic. The middle pic was inspired by a scene in Before Sunrise and the guy was inspired by Alex James from the Blur Best of album. The photobooth scene was inspired by [link] but she does it way better than me (Hey! I was on a crazy time limit and used only two colours, gimme a break, kudos to old-school gameboy graphics!!). The Two crazy kids dancing in the rain was inspired by a scene in Hong Kong 1941. The Beatles is what started it off for me with 'All you need is love'. The flower ring proposal is how I would propose to that lucky gal who bags me.

The lyrics to 'I'm in the mood for love' are copyright to whoever owns it. Sorry Robo-craig, almost finished your pic...

Reaaally like the format; i.e. the design, colours and lines. Never thought I'd see you doing neo-chibi illustrations tho mikey, I've gotta say.

I guess i'm seeing another, more cute and huggy, sentimental side that was always there....but that I was oblivious to during the doggy dog phaze you went through where you used to knock up women internationally on expired visas and bounce back to London Town just as the they asked for the support checks.

aaah, I guess. I guess people change, you dog you.

but really,,,, feeling the designs man.

Thanks for the compliment, even if the rest is a bit messed up. Neo-Chibi? Erm, it's just a new style that I wanna try out. I'm trying to broaden my skills and grasp at my potential.

Building up an empire of illegitimate children? I think you're mistaking me for someone else. Someone like say...I dunno, you! I know we have these enlightened conversations but dude, I'm not your conscience. I'm an actual person, alright? It's a lot to take in, I know but you need to do it. It's for the best.

It's hard to do when you have amnesia. Remember that crazy car pile up a few years ago? Yeah you were at the helm of that, and you owe me £20. I told a little fiat can't take on a 159 bus.

D: So sweet and sentimental! This is very touching piece indeed!! I really love the different styles and how they blend with one another quite seamlessly!

I hope you win/get through to the next round!
