Frank’s P.O.V.

It was 11:00pm and we had just finished playing a concert. We were walking back to the toorbus. Gerard, mikey, and bob were a few feet ahead, talking about the concert and how good we had played. Ray and I were walking slowly and ray was telling me something about how his afro kept falling in his eyes while he was playing his guitar solos. I wasn’t really listening though, I was staring at gerard’s back. I’ve secretly liked Gerard for about 3 months now and ever since 2 weeks ago, when I told the guys that I was gay, my feelings for him have gotten stronger. My secret was killing me though. I needed to tell someone, someone who wasn’t Gerard. I couldn’t tell him, I was too afraid of the rejection I would most likely get. I slowly looked at ray and decided I would tell him. “Ray” I said slowly. “Yea?” he asked. “There is something bothering me, and if I don’t tell someone I’m gonna explode” I said slowly. Ray looked a little confused but said “sure man, I’m here for you”. “Well remember when I told you guys that I was gay…well there is someone I like” I sighed to him. “Really? Who?” he asked. My eyes flicked to Gerard then back to ray. “Um…it’s g-gerard” I muttered. Ray’s eyes grew huge and his jaw dropped. “Dude…are you serious?!” he gasped. He didn’t give me time to answer, he took off running screaming “gerard, gerard omg! Guess what!”. “No!” I screamed and ran after ray. Gerard, mikey, and bob stopped walking and turned around, allowing ray to catch up. “Omg gerard! Guess what frank said!” ray cried, while trying to catch his breath. “What he say?” gerard asked looking confused. “He said he lo-” “No!” I yelled cutting ray off mid sentence. I tackled ray to the ground. Mikey and bob quickly stepped forward and pulled me off of ray. “No!” I screamed struggling against their hold on me. Gerard helped ray up and then looked at me with a shocked expression. Then he looked back at ray. “What were you gonna tell me ray?” he asked. “Frank loves you! He-he told me he did!” ray cried. I froze. I felt mikey and bob’s hold on me disappear. They stared at me along with gerard and ray. I felt my face burn up, turning a deep shade of red. “Asshole!” I screamed at ray. I whirled around and started running. I didn’t know where I was going, but anywhere was better then being with the guys and getting stared at. I ran about 100ft and stopped, dropping to the ground. I leaned my back against a tree and pulled my knees up to my chest. I wrapped my arms around my knees and buried my head in my arms. I started crying, I was so upset. ‘How could ray just spill my secret like that? And he spilled it to the worst person possible, the person it was about’ I thought to myself. I was sitting there for about 5 minutes, and then I herd footsteps. Someone was coming toward me.

Gerard’s P.O.V.

I stood there staring at frank, ray’s words ringing in my ears. ‘Frank loves you’. I couldn’t believe it. Frank blushed deeply and ran away. I stared after him. Then I turned to look at ray, who had a very pleased smile on. “What the hell is your problem man?” I yelled at him. He looked confused. “Why did you just do that to frank?” I asked. Realizing what I meant he said “well frank told me he likes you and I thought you should know”. “Well it’s obvious that frank didn’t want you to tell me! Why did you feel the need to embarrass him like that?!” I spat angrily at him. “Why do you care so much? Aren’t you annoyed with frank for having a gay crush on you?” he asked. I shot him a dirty look and then took off running after frank. I finally found him leaning against a tree with his head buried in his arms. “Frank are you ok?” I asked as I sat down next to him. He didn’t look at me or say anything. I realized by his slightly shaking shoulders that he was crying. I felt so bad for him. “Frank its ok, don’t cry” I said soothingly as I put my hand on his arm. He slowly looked up at me. “It’s ok? How is it ok?! Now you know about my feelings for you! Your gonna hate me and never talk to me again!” he cried. I gave him a shocked look. Before I could say anything he cried “please don’t hate me gerard!!!”. I put my arms around him and pulled him close to me. He buried his head in my chest and held on to me tightly. “Frankie, I could never hate you” I said quietly. He looked up at me with tear filled eyes. “Frank I’m sorry ray spilled your secret, he shouldn’t have done that. But, guess what. I have a secret too” I said. Frank stared confusedly at me. “w-what is it?” he asked shakily. “Well… your love for me isn’t one-sided, I love you too” I said with a shy smile. His jaw dropped. “R-really? You d-do?” he stuttered. I nodded and wiped his tear stained cheeks dry. He smiled shyly as I leaned down and kissed him. I felt his warm lips mix with my cold ones. His lips were so soft. He gently kissed me back. It was a slow, passion filled kiss. As we slowly parted he whispered “I love you so much Gerard”. I whispered back “I love you more then you will ever know Frankie”. We smiled at each other as we slowly stood up. “How do you think the guy are gonna take this? Us I mean.” He asked. “I’m not sure, but there is one way to find out” I said with a smile. I took his hand, linking our fingers, and slowly lead him back to the toorbus. The guys were in for a shock.
