Yeah, Boba Fett is awesome... I remember first seeing him in some promotional photos (with Lando and Vader in Cloud City) from The Empire Strikes Back before the movie came out. It was probably around 1979 and I was 7 = it completely blew my mind to think that there were loads of new Star Wars characters!

Funnily enough I took the first version of this photo with Zam Wessel in the line-up... then decided to just go for the Empire Strikes Back and Clone Wars characters. I really wanted to include Greedo and Jango Fett too, but they just didn't work as a group somehow

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean... I think he's extra scary because he's mechanical and faceless. He reminds me of that bit from The Terminator 'It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.' I wonder if IG-88 was an inspiration for The Terminator? Empire was out before it was made, and Cameron's a huge Star Wars fan!

Haha = I get you now! I decided to reshoot this one with Slave 1 in the background. I'm about 70% through my clean-up/overhaul now (thanks for asking!), I can't wait to get it finished and show it off to the interweb!

Thanks buddy! Yeah, I didn't get the Super Star Destroyer set (too expensive to buy and too big to display) but I had to get the minifigs. Yeah, Zuckuss and 4-LOM minifigs would be very awesome!

Just after Empire Strikes Back came out back in 1981 they released the Zuckuss and 4-LOM action figures with their names the wrong way around - so I spent my entire childhood giving them the wrong names!

I assume that they just mixed the two photos up. Kenner (the toy company) got sent photos of the characters from Lucasfilm to make the figures, but sometimes they only got photos of the head and shoulders so they had to guess or just make up the rest of the figure. They originally released the Snaggletooth figure the same size as all the others = but he is the same size as an Ewok!

Not that I know of... I suppose when you've got the Jedi and the Clones at your disposal you wouldn't really need hired muscle!
