Hello everybody! As promised, here's the finished shot of my Galactic Empire Troops and Imperial Commanders... this is the most minifigs I have set up for a single photo so far = 278, beating my previous record by just one minifig (thanks to the Imperial Probe Droid!)
Front row: Imperial V-Wing Pilot and TIE Fighter Pilots, R5-J2, R2-Q2, R2-Q5, Admiral Piett and Death Star Troopers, Darth Vader and Stormtroopers, Emperor Palpatine and Royal Guards, Grand Moff Tarkin and Death Star Troopers, General Veers and Snowtroopers, Mouse Droid, RA-7 Protocol Droid, Boba Fett, Bossk, Dengar, IG-88.
Rank 1: TIE Fighter Pilots, AT-ST Pilots, Biker Scouts, Stormtroopers (x3), Snowtroopers, AT-AT Pilots, Sandtroopers.
Rank 2: Shadow Troopers, Imperial Officers, Stormtroopers (x4), Snowtroopers, Hoth Imperial Officers, Stormtroopers.
Rank 3: Shadow Troopers (x2), Stormtroopers (x4), Snowtroopers, Stormtroopers (x2).
Vehicles: AT-AT (8129), Speeder Bike (x2), AT-ST (x2), Imperial Probe Droid, AT-AT (4483), TIE Fighter (x2), Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter.

Haha, thanks dude! Yeah, it would cost a lot to get it all in one go... this is the result 15 years of collecting, so the money was just spread out over all that time

A TIE Advanced x1 flanked by two TIE/Ln Fighters always looks awesome.

The TIE Fighters were displayed on clear plastic stands like the Gunships in this photo fav.me/d4uij2t for the original photo, then I removed the TIE Fighters/stands and took the photo again... after that I used Photoshop to put the TIE Fighters back in the photo (without the stands being visible), so all the lighting matches perfectly.
I used the Clone Tool in Photoshop to touch out the Speeder Bikes and Imperial Probe Droid stands (copying clear areas of the desk surface in the original photo to replace the stands)

Thank you = really glad you like it! I haven't got any Imperial/Rebel photos yet... but it is on my 'to-do' list! I'm planning on doing a couple of set ups to honor the classic Star Warsy awesomeness of the Battlefront games = so hopefully I can come and collect your jealousy tokens after that!

Thank you! Yeah, it took a few hours to work out where to put everything, set it all up, take test photos, then make adjustments... I knocked the table once while I was setting them up (I always do that!), luckily it was pretty early on = I was super careful afterwards!

Thanks for the 'awesome' verdict Judge Death! I had a lot of the original Kenner figures and vehicles when I was a kid, so I'm just keeping that childhood dream alive. Actually it's not that expensive... I've been collecting for 13 years now and many of the sets are xmas/birthday presents from friends (although I do buy minifig battlepacks as treats for myself whenever I can!)
