This was my first time working with color pencils so I had a lot of fun figuring out how they blend to make the fire look more real. Fire is really fun for me to draw in general

Wow thats amazing for a first try. I have been using color pencils for years and its pretty nice what all you can do with them

I was drawing a lot with them until middle school but that was a long time ago and I'm trying to get back into the grove of things. I still prefer regular pencils though, they give me more room to make mistakes

Thanks! I'm not either but doing fire effects turned out to be fairly simple and quite fun
