Thanks Yeah, it's pretty annoying to have to find good lighting every time you want to take a picture of your work and still it never quite does it justice.

That speaks "confrontation"! They do fill the frame and you can feel the void between them shrinking. Would love to see it scaned with more agressive contrasts, but it's smashing already, intensity and all.

I agree, some of the contrasts have been lost in my "awesome" photography and photo editing skills. As usual, it looks a bit more intense in person but since I don't have access to a scanner at the moment, this is about as good as it gets without me tinkering around in Photoshop too much. Thanks for the input

Awesome! This is probably more ambitious than anything I've tried so far haha I don't do well with facial hair and teeth XD

You should give it a try, if anything to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Admittedly, I should be taking my own advice as well but it's easier being smart from the sidelines I pretty much use the same technique for both facial hair and regular hair in some cases (like this drawing), only the length of lines differs. It's from a fur drawing tutorial, I can send you the link if you want.

I've experimented with different hairstyles and lengths in my drawings but I feel like I wouldn't know how to draw the behavior of facial hair (if that makes sense) so I end up drawing girls most of the time haha it'd be great to see that tutorial, it would help me loads

Haha I'm the same, I draw women most of the time because both the facial features and body curves are easier to draw than the bulky male ones. I'm working on it though
For the facial hair I used the technique for this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3zfa2…
For hair in general I found this one to be pretty good but I haven't attempted short hair yet so it might not apply: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_83dQA…
