Description
Just as the title indicates. This is my quick impression of Grendel, the antisocial, homicidal denizen of the northland. Beowulf ultimately killed him for lashing out at mankind, which deemed him a frightful monster. He seems to be a tragic as well as sinister figure and the lack of any good descriptions of his appearance only adds to his mystery and attraction. Thanks for looking.Related content

That might actually have been the inspiration as it also reminates a cover of the book "Grendel" by John Gardner.
