Mandelbulb 3D 1.8.2

When the first inter-space gateway was discovered, if it had not been found by one of the colony convoys, it is quite possible none would have known what it was... but when a random radio signal set the gateway to operating, and one of the convoy ships entered it, and disappeared, the nature of the gates were known.

Over the next few years, the gateways were tested with drone ships, and the network mapped, until a large system of gateways was discovered to stretch across most of the known galaxy, opening much of space to further exploration by humans...
