Mandelbulb 3D 1.8.8.1This is my latest entry in the on-going pong between me and
his "Jello City" becomes "my CNC machine has a small bug"
(for those who might not be familiar, CNC means "computer numerical control" and (in my experience) most often refers to a computerized milling machine that cuts blocks of metal into various shapes. see: [link] for more info about CNC)

Some day soon I'm going to copy one of your parameters and use it totally as a learning tool. Most times for me to learn something new is to jump in and mess around with it for a bit THEN read tutorials explaining what I did and what more I need to learn.

I suppose that might work, the trouble I had with MB starting out was just knowing what the different buttons and things did, which wasn't something I could learn by poking around... as soon as I read through a couple tutorials (rather quickly really) to explain the basic controls, then I was able to mess about and learn what kind of formulas did what and so on.

well Daeurth and I have been doing one for some time, but very slowly... often takes him weeks to come up with a tweak, and sometimes I end up forgetting after he posts, so it can take me a while too...
