I'm still a newbie with Mandelbulb 3D and it's artists such as yourself I look to for inspiration. Stunning work.

How are you getting such amazing detail and clarity on your renders?

I guess it comes down to trial and error with the lighting-settings, they are becoming better (and more complicated ) with every new release of mandelbulb 3D.

The distance estimator does not like this place as much as we do... had to loose a few details not to get artifacts, will try different settings.

You should consider posting a tutorial on how you made these. At least give some basic Param's to get us started down the right road...
