History and Powers (Under Construction):

Kyrin was a lower order child in mass of her father’s royal progeny. Her birth was the result of a taboo union, but when she didn’t die of exposure she was acknowledged and brought among the crèche . She was never sick and rarely called attention to herself, which meant for the large part her infancy and toddler years left her unnoticed. Her innate talents for memorization and recall went largely ignored, because nobody was willing to risk their standing by championing the child of unmentionable origins. However, it often also meant that her presence went largely ignored or others were unwilling to bar her as she inserted herself into activities as she grew bolder. Her planet was always at war with others and each other. Her aptitude for weapons and combat grew steadily. She was quick to heal and heal others. She wasn’t above taking risks to save others that had been written off for dead. Desperately seeking acceptance rather than mere tolerance, Kryin began growing a following on the battle field. She became a champion among the lowest soldiers and a thorn in the side of leaders whose tactics she openly questioned and interfered with. Kyrin had built a kinship among those in her squad unit, but was devastated when she was unable to stop them from dying willingly in an unnecessary maneuver. When the growing darkness began to creep nearer to them, the Kings of her planet ignored it assuming it would be handled by others. When the call for volunteers came, the Kings openly rejected it and prohibited anyone from joining. They wouldn’t see even one side, be it their own or their enemies, unbalanced during their constant state of civil war. It wasn’t until the few planetary allies began to withdraw and drop tenuous truces that the Kings agreed on one thing. A sacrifice must be made in the form of a volunteer to the Lady’s ranks. Her father fearing the support she was building and the other kings fearing her on the field agreed that she would be it. She was crowned “The King and Hero” (another name for Antares 😊 ) and the “Little King” by all the kings of her planet. Great fanfare was made as if they were offering up their most valuable solider. Kyrin only agreed to the farce as she was already numb due to recent loss of her unit. She willing walked away from the planet and into another war zone. As the Scorpius, she found her healing abilities accelerated and extended to her battle companions. Furthermore, any souls beyond her blood healing she could bind to their bodies until healing them over time could be done. This soul binding would be dramatically reduced in each resurrection. Her taboo status unknown here, the competency of the leadership, and the meaningfulness of the war was easy for Kyrin to embrace. It was never assumed she’d return to her home planet, because these new companions were home. She was more than happy to follow the Lady to Earth's moon.
