Living on earth for the will of Zeus, she was offended by the wickedness and immorality of humankind. Therefore forced to leave, crying for the pain she punished them nonetheless.

She's supposed to be Dike as the title says. Nemesis was another Greek goddess for justice, seen as revenge, providing fortune equally around the world.
