Nostalgia isn't as bad as some people like to make it out to be. Looking back at something with fondness is another way of saying you're looking at the best bits of it. Why not make use of those best bits, I say! Or...I would, if I had a saying lol.

Thanks! I prefer her this way as well (obviously haha). I've been slowly altering her design for a while now, but I've been meaning to do something specifically with her hair texture as result of a change in her background. I think it's more interesting now than it was before.

no where near. Any time I sit in front of my computer I end up drawing instead of writing. And when I do write I get distracted by parts of the story that won't come a long for a while. I've changed my focus to cover smaller arcs of the story with the bigger story in the back of my mind, so hopefully I can get something done now.

i totally get you. except i end up on youtube or playing candy crush or tetris on FB. that's probably why you upload so often. my stories come to me in little bits scattered around my story's timeline too and it's annoying. but, i kinda like it because if you know what you want to happen later in the story, you can set up for it in the beginning creating a bomb ass plot.

haha. candy crush. never played it. And yeah, it is helpful to know the direction you want your story to go in. I think that's what most writers start with. Some event that needs to be explained far off in to a greater story. But when I get to writing the smaller details it's plot-hole city.

I've gotta agree that I love the rough lines too, they're clean enough that they're not distracting, yet they add personality to the style; sort of a more organic feel.
