I like brown eyes. A random portrait I did in between other stuff. I'm trying to understand face planes on a more intuitive level because believe it or not, head proportions give me hell. It reminds me of the style ofΒ an artist whose name I forgot.Note to self: Every portrait from now on has to include a full bust at the very least, MontΓ©. Floating heads are just lazy.

Hahahahahah, I know what you mean, faces are fun when they're little sketches on top of full bodies, but god forbid I ever have to try and paint/draw a full portrait, facial planes mess me up too @_@;; Β

Thanks! I think personal style is important in portraits. And a looooot of different colors went in to making this one, so I'm glad I managed to make it appear subtle. haha

Haha, thanks! I like her too, just wish I framed the image better. The lips are my favorite part as well. I like how they turned out.
And yeah, proportions of the head are a pain to me; I typically end up getting them right in the end, but generally they start out pretty wonky.
