Description

The left five panels are heavily referenced from Space Art and Psychedelia Art in general; I was listening to Zuehl heavily while drawing this spread. As I might have said before about air travel, my concern is with something utterly wonderful and fantastical being reduced to something worthy of contempt by its interaction with Postmodern Technocapital.

As I was developing my webcomic in the early days, I hadn't researched all of the health effects associated with albinism, meaning that introducing all of the vision problems which it usually brings on at this stage would be a plot hole. Photophobia, however, would not, and so this page and the next are focused on the feeling of "this space is so horribly bright that I can't concentrate on anything around me, let alone see".

I designed the male flight attendant many months before the James Somerton drama, so the resemblance isn't intended.
