Description

A later group of 'supernatural belligerents', as I've grown to call them, which I've designed for my Dungeon Crawl Classics setting.

There's a space cannon in the capital of what remains of the Imperium Unmaïre, but its purpose has been lost, save to either the most obscure, provincial pieces of folklore, or to the rarest, most ancient texts of the High Empire, meaning that in the future, the party I run for might be able to visit Primus VII.

"In the unfathomably distant past of the High Imperial period, the Imperium Unmaïre sent outposts to the other Lunus Minors of Primus VI. These were not for the purposes of resource extraction, or trade, and the Empire had long-since forgotten Science. These outposts were purely for the sake of establishing them, and boasting of them to non-existent neighbors.

"As the Empire was partitioned, however, these outposts remained, only occasionally contacting Primus IX, which was the first homeworld of the Imperium. They maintained their technological, and eruditic refinements, and even rediscovered aspects of Scientific procedure, but in their exquisite refinements, the humans of Primus VII do little more than press buttons at switchboards, sometimes sending radio messages to the few remaining receivers on Primus IX."
