I loved the word twilight since I was little and I had a game where you could pick what map you were on and my favourite one was called 'twilight'. IΒ didn't even know whatΒ it meant but it didn't stop me using the word xDΒ Β

Our country's national anthem was written centuries before Stephenie Meyer was even born. Also, Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone alleviates a lot of the perversion of the word. Since I started watching that show I mostly associate the word 'twilight' with the fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man.

It's less a "coincidence" than an "inevitability". Twilight is a very commonly used word, since long before the books even.
