It most certainly doesn't look bad! Trust me, you're improving so much! My tip would be to lower the opacity on the highlights, and maybe add some smaller highlights too. I think what's bugging you the most is that it looks too uniform! Horse hair never lies perfect (as nice as it would be) and sometimes those little extra strands defying gravity make all the difference!
