I created this painting during the project week at school. We experimented a lot with cocoa and chocolate, and for this I mixed cocoa with water and a bit ink like you can see in the foreground and painted with it like using watercolour (ok, it is a bit more difficult, because you can't work very fine with a darker/more cocoa colour...it gets viscous.) Ever tried it, too?So here is an illustration of Éowyn, Lady of Rohan, watching Edoras from afar.
Coffee will follow soon (Durin planned)!
I'm sorry for all the updates, it's so difficult to get the right colours, and it looks always different on my PC than on DA...just annoying.

Löslicher Kaffee lässt sich super abstufen.
Wasser auf eine Untertasse und nach Bedarf Granulat zugeben.

and I know what you mean with the colour processing, if I upload .tif files it flattens the colour on the preview images, but the download/fullsize seems to retain the proper tones

Thank you very much! Yeah, it's always annoying, it looks different on my Desktop, different in the programms, on DA, not to mention the original work. And on the next PC it looks totally strange!

I use a few different devices as well and the toning can be a bit here and there

It works quite well (when there is enough water with it)! You can also get great effects when you scatter a bit cocoa on the paper and spraying water on it then...I didn't use the technique here, but it's really cool!

Es hat echt Spaß gemacht, und mit Kuvertüre hat es auch geschmeckt! Aber leider hat Kakao mit Wasser nicht so gut geschmeckt...nur gut gerochen. Hatte zur Folge, dass ständig Leute vorbeigekommen sind, um einfach mal zu schnuppern. Wir hatten mit Abstand den besten Raum.

Glaub ich gern, dass ihr bei so gutem Geruch enormen Zulauf hattet. Auch ne gute Idee, Leute zur Kunst zu locken 
Muss auch mal mit Kakao experimentieren, die Farbe sieht sehr schön warm aus. Ich hab noch den guten, aber hoffnungslos überlagerten, belgischen Kakao hier, dann findet er noch eine Verwendung
Habs auch mal mit Campari versucht, das ist leider nicht so rot geworden, wie ich mir erhofft hatte

Das tut er leider nicht, kann man aber trotzdem mal mit malen, auch hier gilt die Devise, Pinsel ablecken macht froh
