Description

As the name implies... my gryhon has made its first flight, aided by the Malaik wings. I do not intend to create wings for the grpyphon as there are so many excellent wingsets out there. The Malaik wings are using their own lava texture and I think they work very nicely with the feathers of the head. I personally prefer to use the Feathered Wings by universe3d, because of the way they look and the ease of posing them. This gryphon makes use of the lion texture and I added a strand-based partial mane to give it more interest, but the shape is the base shape of the Jaguar with some minor tweaking. I am also not using a geoshell as with the hippogryph, there is no need for it here.

There is nothing much fancy in the manner of morphs just eyes open - close, and two movement dials for the feet. Like the hippogryph the poor cat has to submit to some abuse when it comes to joints, the hand joing needs to be used in the opposite direction to give the look of proper birdlegs. Now to the fine tunig. Also... is there something people would like to see with the gryphon? Texturewise for example?

The gryphon will be for DAZ only, as I don't understand how to work in poser. But if there is somebody who can adapt the critter for poser... I'd be only to happy to get a poser version out.
