Description I've been struggling with reality and decided to do a comparison. I wanted to see how the different render engines handled light in particular.
First image is a Vue import. I did have to readjust textures extensively. Instead of using the skydome I did use an atmosphere since that is  Vue's speciality stand out. No additional lights.
The second render is DAZ, one sun, Ambient on the skydome and AoA ambient lights.
Third one is Lux via Reality. I took over the sun setting from DAZ and turned the skydome into a meshlight instead of using the native sky so that the two images were comparable.
Initially I rendered in Lux - felt the results were not satisfactory, did the DAZ render and then decided to take a shot at Vue.

I'd be interested to see which version you prefer.

I think the DAZ one looks best for this image. To me, the Vue render looks washed out, where Reality, strangely enough, looks fake. But ever since the wonderful AoA lights came out I've fallen in love with 3Delight. Things just look better when done  in DAZ now.

I have to say that I find that too. AoA makes a huge difference and is really easy to use

The LuxRender is obviously the worst render - I have been getting good results with Reality/Lux but it depends not only on the light (watts, color temperature, light gain) but also on what settings you define for the camera (ISO, shutter, f-stop, gamma, film response). I don't like the result on the monster's skin on the Daz render - I think it's too shiny. The Vue render looks like it was done in final mode (I almost never use it) - Vue's atmosphere are not created equal and to get good results I avoid some of them like the plague

lol...so each render has its flaws. But when it comes to light and texture it looks as if vue is getting me the best results. The bother is just that it needs a whole new set of texturing to do the job.

What exactly do you mean with final mode?

When you choose render options in Vue, Final is one of the preset render qualities. It's fast but you get better quality using one of slower options like Superior (for some images I go even higher). For atmosphere I usually use one of the Global Radiosity because they usually work well with Poser (never used Daz stuff with Vue) but I also add lights (spot lights or point lights) or "fill cards" to get a better control of the image.

Daz version is better.
The first one is good, but the middle one is prettier, sharper and the textures are better. The last one, there is lack of specularity and the shadows is strange in the clothes. It´s almost give a HQ comic feel on the clothes.

I hope you understand my english

I find the same thing... the shadows are ugly, jagged and abrupt. Very unnatural.

I think I prefer the middle one.  The Vue generated image is good, but the textures seem a little subdued.  The LuxRender image is, again, not bad, but it seems to lack some of the 'specular response' that is present in the Daz Studio version.
