Re-upload.Everybody is Kung Fu Fighting, and the ducks want in on the fun!
Still in Kung Fu Panda mood, still just trying new things, still trying to avoid fanart. So I made this a little character design practice at least.
Anyway, two mandarin ducks, a male and a female. I'm a little surprised we haven't seen one of those in KFP yet, they are really beautiful animals. Took a few liberties in the coloration, though.
And I shall name them Master Shui and Bo!

Yes, the males are more brightly colored, just like in my picture. ^^
I said I took some liberties with their colors, but it's really just in the details. Like, the male should have orange legs and feet, but I made them red, like his bill.

they normally are but she/he changed the colors some the make the girl pretty and the guy not so girly

Hehe you might have taken liberties with their colouration but I thought they were mandarin ducks before I read your description. Very fun picture btw

There is a Chinese martial art inspired by the movements of a duck's wings, but I don't know how to translate it's name...

I didn't pay much attention to the tv series, to be honest. I'm not in the US, so I have no idea when I'll actually get the chance to watch it (unless someone puts all the episodes on youtube hoho) If it has good characterization and adds to the world of Kung Fu Panda, I'd be willing to follow it.

I think you'll be presently surprised at how good it will be. Trust me,(i interned on it ;o )it's actually quite awesome! The episodes will eventually be on the nickelodeon website.

Awesome, glad ya dig it! apparently the first episode aired a bit ago, but i'm confused by it...cause it's not actually the first episode. idk why they would do that. The first movie's the best but the show is actually what turned me into a fan.

Well, they called it a sneak preview, so I guess it was to get people interested? *shrug* The scorpion was pretty cool, I hope there'll be more interesting characters like that. X3
