Edit: Quickly just learned that this is also a woodpecker upon looking them up.I was surprised when i looked out the window this morning to find this beautiful looking guy (assuming it's a guy with those colors on his face and neck) hanging out near the bird feeder today. Did not seeming too flighty either as it was pretty calm with me pointing a camera at it.
Little bit on the larger side too. Was kind of funny seeing him trying to eat from the feeder. X3
I love his markings!

Yeah he does remind me of a quail a bit. Sort of flies like one too when he took off eventually. But he's in the woodpecker family.
