was listening to the score to disneys bambi 2 yesterday but slowed down in adobe premiere and it sounded really good. i also updated my intel graphics driver because my laptop has both an integrated and dedicated gpu and now my one 3d program on my computer won't work anymore, also it didn't fix the graphical glitches i get on my screen sometimes when i have applications like photoshop open and all that. i think my 6 year old laptop is just finally starting to show its age , been meaning to get a new computer but i've been waiting til this pc is on its very last legs before doing so because pc components just get better and cheaper over every year it seems. Not sure about now though because of the corona virus stuff because now i look at different shops online and there's like no deals and stuff that i was planning on buying before just aren't listed anymore. so that's a drag i guess. I like to build pcs, and so does sonic, in one of my favorite sonic the hedgehog movies i've seen sonic goes to tails and they leave mobius to meet linus tech tips on planet earth and he with tails teach sonic the ropes to building a great pc and to find excellent deals on pc components . The laptop I and sonic bought 6 years ago was pretty beefy for its time, and it cost over $1500 it's got a gtx 1050 in it, a quad core cpu, 16 gigs of ram, and a 1tb ssd. But nowadays you can get similar performance computer for less than half that price.. like under 700$ and a faster cpu. albeit maybe a little less storage. but storage doesnt mean much to me because i just mostly use my internal storage as a boot drive and i use cloud storage for junk files. if i need storage for lots of old files i just tell sonic to buy a cheap >100$ 1tb ssd online and i format it and dump the stuff on there. I told sonic that there isn't really any reason to buy harddiscs anymore because they go stale quickly and aren't good for long term storage, and the price of ssds has come down considerably over the years. Sonic the hedgehog nods at me and he continues to work on the motherboard on the testbench asking me how to install the cpu and ram sticks into the dual channel memory slots . sonic doesn't need a lot of ram for his day to day use, but he uses a few programs like the adobe suite, mostly photoshop.alongside a few google tabs , spotify, and discord open, so 16gigs should be good for him. he installs the stock cooler that came with the cpu, as it is well good enough. and we screw it into the headers on the case we bought from newegg. Sonic comments on how Robotnik had once gave him his chili dog to suck on when he was feeling very hungry one day and then whole room cheered
