Description
Sometime after Haku became a legionnaire. He was given an important task in taking an axe from the jarl of Whiterun, to jarl Ulfric in Windhelm. This would have been his first time seeing them in person. And knowing who it is he’ll be facing against in a couple of days from now. Haku made a daring quick stop to go and see Irtra real quick before he returned to Whiterun, and be in his first major battle in this war. In his uniform he was surprised to see Irtra, snuck up up behind him to hold onto them like they’d haven’t seen each other in a week or so. He then began to tell her his reason for making such a quick meeting at the same camp now.==========
Haku: sure seems like someone already missed me in about a few weeks too nonetheless.
Irtra: I don’t know why you’re back here. I heard that you brought Ulfric an axe and he rejected it.
Haku: he did. Which is why jarl Balgruuf, sent me to request Tullius for aid in the battle that is to come to Whiterun.
Irtra: and you’ve stopped to see me first?
Haku: technically I already sent the message to them. I just wanted to see you again really quickly before the big battle for Whiterun, and of course tell you that this will be my first real battle in a war. Out of what the empire has here makes my dragon slayer skills look like I trained like a demigod or something.
Irtra: but these soldiers are just farmers. The real imperial army is blocked off between an avalanche. Same could be said about the Stormcloak’s, and some of them ex soldiers of the empire.
Haku: maybe so, but I don’t think they’ll be enough for me. After all I did defeat an evil wizard in Hell.
Irtra: you made a promise that you’d comeback when this war is over. I better not hear you die in that battlefield because of an arrow to the knee.
Haku: don’t worry about something like that happening. After all I ain’t the Dragonborn for nothing you know?
Irtra: maybe so, but I have lost people before. People who cared about me and such. I would hate to lose you too like others we’ve known.
Haku: you won’t be losing me ever. And I’ll make sure to crawl out of Hell again if I must see you once more. If Malikar couldn’t kill me back then, then I’m sure not a lot of farmers with little combat experience is going to put me down.
Irtra: please stay a little bit longer with me before you go.
Haku: sure wish I could, but I’m to return to Whiterun immediately. I thought I’d come and see you again before I make my way into battle. Wouldn’t have lived with myself if I didn’t at least drop by ever now and then.
Irtra: you know a simple letter would have been just as nice too.
Haku: maybe, but I wouldn’t be able to see the expression on your face if I did though.
==========
with his last words spoken. Haku made his way to Whiterun, where he was to report to the jarl and be ready to protect the city from the Stormcloak’s. It was there that Haku, had entered his first major battle in the civil war. And he fought gallantly against the invading forces in defense of the city as he stepped into the front lines and fought against hundreds of enemy forces coming to the gates of the city. He survived the battle, and would have been much closer to winning this war.
altho the battle of Whiterun, was his biggest victories yet. It was only the first major battle for Skyrim. The next few missions and tasks at hands would have been his hardest ones so far during the civil war, but the battles for the fort’s that sided with the Stormcloak’s. Were just as epic as the battles he had fought in each one. Up until he would be given one final assignment to truly put and end to the civil war. And that battle would be what would be the biggest victory that the empire would see since the end of the Oblivion Crisis.
