thank you. Yes, these are the lilly leaves on top of my pond. I only have a very small pond tho. - enough for 7 fish!, oh and the frogs, and the daily damsel flies, and the wasps................. i guess it is big enough for lots of visitors!

Nice capture, I think it is a Sandhills hornet too. Usually if you catch them busy like this they don't even notice you are there.

Looks like a Sandhills Hornet. You will be happy to know that they sting viciously to protect their homes. Nice shot.

Bug are making a bang in the DEVs these days! Very nice, crisp focus - good colors - and a bonus fly or something on the leaf.
