This is really fun to see this progress and it's kind of helping me get through this comic page by looking forward to uploading my progress. Woot.I'm balancing time between this page and doing the line work for my latest "Bent" page. But I quickly finished up some line work and lay down a lot of basic colors. Gosh, I'm so glad I'm almost finished with the lines for this one.

Now that's interesting, in the top panel-- you paint over your characters to do the background first, and then you do the characters themselves? Is it easier to do it that way? How do you situate your layers?

Situating layers always depends on what I'm trying to do with the picture. Every one is different. Just do what works best for you
