Different stages of mold making for both the head and the removed ears...Silicone was poured over the clay sculpt then a plaster cast was made in two parts to provide structure for the liquid resin pour.
The ears were a separate mold because they would be cast in a flexible expanding foam. You can see the ears with the same orange silicone in the first picture, though this didn't work so I used a one part mold with pour holes sculpted in for them instead.
