NO. It's not a good one to start with, purley because of ALL the jokes they put in about all the old batmans.

This trilogy is great, its dark, its powerful and the joker (Heath ledger) is AWESOME.

yes it's old but its GREAT!
The joker is played by Jack nickleson and my god he's amazing too!
This one is less dark but the story is true enough to the comics.
THEN you'll have enough knowledge of him to apprechiate the Lego batman even more HOPE THIS HELPS

Well, I saw the part of Heath Ledger asking a guy ''why so serious'' and what happened after that scared me like crazy. I was pretty jumpy in those days

It was MUCH BETTER than I expected and made me laugh so much
it worried me because ALL THE ADVERTS before the film were FOR CHILDREN so i was worried it would turn out really cheesy, but no it was good.
better than the Lego movie.
And the Joker, my god, I LOVE him
already 10X better than the suicide squad's joker.
for starters he has a creepy smile AND ACTUALLY MAKES JOKES/PUNS!
defiantly worth a watch!
