The shephard mix hadn't yet seemed to in any way actively dislike the young husky, however, that didn't mean that the dog had any reason to actually like him either. Shadow decided the best way to ensure that his fellow junkyard dogs found him a favourable and useful addition to their group would be to prove to them individually his worth. And the young dog was a good hunter, especially when he had his new friend, Arendelle, to help him spot his prey.
Carefully, Shadow approached the cream-coloured dog, a fattened squirrel held limply in his jaws. With his tail tucked low and ears canted back, the husky approached Jasper mildly and set the dead animal at the other dog's paws in silent offering before backing up a pace.
"We haven't offically met. I'm Shadow," he introduced himself.
