So, I went back to some handdrawn again - I love my tablet, but there is SO much more liberty for me in drawing 'en mano' - which is why I'll use my tablet for colouring my handdrawn stuff...Either way back to drawing; So this is party taken from Formspring.
I've been asked whether Brogan is jealous of 's Belles' relationship with Brogans foster-father Hooter. I think this pretty much sums up how she sees the people surrounding Hooter - she doesn't. Jealousy isn't a part of Brogans limited emotion-spectrum.

She's weird - I must admit I'm not quite sure if she does help Hooter without really realising it, or if it is on purpose - but... Hopefully I'll figure out one of these days

Beautifully done - and a great way of illustrating how Brogan feels about Hooter as opposed to the rest of the world. And it's so ironic, that she would act to prevent harm from those closest to him, when you would expect the opposite... Her mind is a frightening thing.

She's clever - she knows that her being around him after she was 'outed' would ONLY cause him harm. So she takes another approach to try an help out... weird... But yes, quite disturbing.

Well, since it's not nearly as disturbing as the alternative I won't complain... It's just that this approach is something you'd normally expect from people too annoyingly selfless for their own good. Makes you wonder about -their- sanity, actually...

Heh, yeah that's kinda how I figured she saw things. Though, I have to ask, she has "looked out" for Mark (as much as Brogan can that is). Telling him to hide from the IDEA, killing Cobswell, pointing out he should talk to the scientists, even the whole thing with ignore Evil Bunny Brogan. I know she doesn't care, but does she see him? It's not important really, it's more a curiosity thing.

Well... She 'sees' people - this is more to do with emotional connections with each character.
But yes, she did that to Mark, she also bashed into Belle's 'apartment' and told her 'nicely' to stay out of FOWL's business so Belle wouldn't get into any trouble - but all that has only been because of Hooter. Brogan knows that they are the people dearest too him, which is why she has gone against her own nature in order to make sure Hooter wouldn't get 'hurt' - so however she doesn't 'care' for the people surrounding Hooter, she still helps them ONLY because of him (No Hooter, no help). And thanks to the whole Cobswell-incident she apparently has a crazy-ass-version of Author on her tail

Oh I knew it had to do with his connection to Hooter. It's more I'm amused that she civilly helps him as opposed to y'know bashing in and shaking him like a bottle of Snapple. XD

Weeeeeell - there might be a biiiit personal feelings in that matter. Well, actually it has more to do with the fact that where Mark couldn't *help* his situation and was more or less 'innocent', Belle willingly walked into the situation (Brogan misunderstood of course, she didn't have all the facts). So Brogan considers Millies situation as a result of plain moronic stupidity, whereas Mark was a victim... And Brogan doesn't like stupidity
