[link]So, here we have young Leon and Gloria, Pintails parents; I've sat the date around the 50'ies or so, but I have to precise them later, as I still need to figure out their timeline.
Either way; These drawings go more or less chronological; Gloria as a young upper-class lady, meets Leon Torres - a just as young idealistic worker, trying to fight the current government.
Gloria gets involved, gets to be a part of the main-core of the revolutionist; she befriends Pintail Sr. (the raven with the spiffy hat) and kicks Leon in his cojones (not depicted here) because he's doubting her capability of surviving harsh conditions.
And then they go dancing (actually my favourite sketch)
The last sketch is me trying out colour-scheme for Gloria, for I must admit I have NO idea what colours to give her :S Only thing I know is that she shares the same eye-colour as Pintail.
The last sketch is also them deciding that Gloria and the younger kids have to leave Santa Boca - Gloria and Leon won't meet up again until at least 20-30 years has passed.

I always use songs when I'm drawing; I just rarely put up the link; but I like the idea so I'll be doing that more often.

oh well, i always listen to music while drawing and they inspire me lots of ideas, of course im not able of doing them all an i end up forgetting them xD

So beautiful. All the panels are great, but my favorite is the one with Gloria and Leon side by side in suspenders - don't ask me why. Maybe it's because he's so short and stocky next to her, or because of my embarassing love for the way you draw webbed feet. And her little smile there is just too sweet.

D'aw thanks - Cute is def. better than silly. It really was difficult to make him look short without making him look ridiculous, so I am happy he can still win over some respect, considering everything.
And Gloria is so silly - he's trying to explain to her the governmental abuse of the smaller people, how the poor people stays poor, while the rich gets richer, how there are no free education or health-care, and in general how a government should serve the people and not the other way around and she just goes "aaaw, he's so adorable."

Yay! More Gloria! She's beautiful and I don't say that much about ducks. But as a Leon fangirl, I'm just more exciting to see him. And Pintail, Sr. I love his design. I do, oh so very much.
Absolutely love the way you draw hair, I've told you that before, and you did it so great on Gloria in the bailar sketch. It's so pretty. Oh, his bashful little face there is priceless. The way you convey emotions is just so great. I'm loving all these little sketch dumps. Its so much better to grasp the characters. <3

I feel I should be more excited about seeing Gloria properly, and she's lovely, she really is, but Leoooooooon. 
Also, Gloria looks beautiful in that dancing dress. And of course Pintail Sr. is looking spiffy as always, hat and all.
Lastly the hug is so sweet and sad. D: Well done.
