Sesshoumaru x Rin was like... my very first OTP, and I realized that I have not given it much love lately. So I decided to remedy that, and couldn't resist attempting a kid. Even though I hate drawing them... go figure. But I'm actually really happy with how she turned out! I'm convinced it's likely a sign of the end of the world.Anyway, I was surprised that I generally approved of this one... I like how the colors turned out, and nobody looks incredibly funky. Of course, there are some things that kind of make me sigh, but I'm ignoring them.

The child looks like a
Jin, Kai, Kaminari, Mikazuki, Miyuki, Nami, and Naishiyo.
Naishiyo, Miyuki, and Kaminari are my favorite.
Meanings are
Jin- tenderness, gentleness
Kai- forgiveness
Kaminari- thunder
Mikazuki- new moon
Miyuki- "snow."
Nami- wave
Naishiyo- west generation

From what I remember (and it's been a while since I've read the manga, so perhaps I remember incorrectly), there's quite a bit of variation with hanyou children in how 'human' they look - kind of a big difference between Jinenji and Inuyasha, for example. That being the case, I just decided that in this instance the kid didn't get dog ears.

The ears just turned out that way! It sounds like pretty much every case is special and turns out a bit differently, so I figured I could take some liberties.

It can be difficult... but at the same time, it is kind of fun trying to come up with a design for how the kid would look! In any case, I'm just glad that you think the way I did it turned out. ^^

I think father is a little too strong of a word for how he treats her. After all, there is no fatherly emotion or guidence that he gives her. I think we can agree that at most, Sesshoumaru is her protector. He doesn't feed or play with her; he just keeps her from harm, simple as that.
