It's not cheap...it's a canon. But it was made to be a video camera, and not a picture camera, and it is very low on resolution for pics, which sucks. For one, the biggest I can get a pic on it is 1024x768...and when I use my friend's camera, her's gets around 3000xsomething...one thing my camera is good for, though, is focusing, so I can get some great macro shots with it.
