Description More charms!! These ones are dango...which are kinda like mochi. They're kinda pastry-like...the outside is made with rice flour and then they're filled with something...usually red bean paste. If you do a quick search, you can look on wikipedia and it tells you where the colors come from. If I remember right, the green is from green tea, the pink is from cherry blossoms, and the white is from egg. They're quite yummy. ^-^

$3 per charm
$7 for a pair of earrings
$6 for a necklace
$10 for a necklace/earring set
$5 for a keychain

Also, thanks to for giving me the idea to do them.

OMG! I had some of those once! They're really sticky, but they were ok. I prefer actual mochi. Especially the strawberry-bean paste kind!

I really like your Japanese cuisine charms. You do them so well!

Aww...thanks!! I had a strawberry bean paste mochi when I went down to visit a friend...or maybe it was dango, I'm not sure. But we recently got an international market in my town and the place has green tea mochi. ^-^ It makes me happy. And they also have aloe juice. I dunno if you've tried it, but you totally should if you haven't. Do you have any suggestions for other charms I could do of japanese foods? I'm planning on doing pocky, but the store didn't have the color I needed when I went to get it last night. I haven't had a lot of japanese foods tho, so I only have so many ideas in that area... ^_^;;

Trying to think of what I eat alot...you did Mochi, dango, onigiri...OH! Takoyaki (they're balls of batter with a piece of octopus in the middle. Wikipedia them. They come on a stick like dango.). Yakitori? (that might look a little icky. lol). What about chopstick charms with yakisoba or udon noodles on the end? A popular charm over here are Nikuman. (also wikipedia-able) What about Ebi? (fried shrimp)
