i went with cloyster!i'm totally so in love with him!!! idk it just hit me hard, this pokemon rocks! i love the size of it, i love the color, the simplicity, the type, the concept. it's just awesome! now a bit about the pose. i was trying to think of something fresh for it, so i thought i would have the shell almost open, i'd never seen someone else do that! so i draw it all up and i'm pleased with it. then i read it's bio/description. in like every entry it says that it never opens XD sooo that was a mistake, but i'm pleased with it and so that's good enough.

I like how cloyster has been given a kinda "cool" or "punky" persona in the games/anime. Especially with that cheeky grin. Makes it so much more than just a clam with a face. Way better than Clamperl in my opinion.

well honestly i can see some similarities. a bit graphic, but the inner and outer edges of the shell are very reminiscent of the lips of the labia
that being said i know that wasn't cloyster's intention, it's just a coincidence of nature. it's very clearly a clam on its side. people just see the dirty side of everything.
