Description
I wasn't planning on doing a pumpkin at all, then I thought of gengar's face and I really like it, think it's fun, spooky, but still cute. So I was going to do a Gengar-esq face, but then last minute I thought a Gastly pumpkin would be really fun (very random haha), but then while looking at images of Gastly I saw Gengar and I decided it is such a fun design.

It was a DISASTER making it. So first I should have shaved the pumpkin, then carved, but I did it the other way around, so it was really flimsy, ended up breaking all the teeth off so I had to replace it with toothpicks, which looks stupid, but at night it was fine. And then I was using my brother's carving tools and his shaving tool was AWFUL, so it was like little deep gouges, took like 1.5 hours and it's still too thick to really glow. Very disappointed with that, but overall I was really happy with it and really did enjoy myself doing it. AND it's all free hand and I'm quite pleased with his overall shape and everything, it came out nicely. It was a successful Halloween.
