the first pokemon are very mysterious and puzzling. after YEARS of study scientists and archeologists have discovered that they have their own way of communicating and acting towards one another. the evolved form is also extremely odd and mysterious. it is very confusing and hard to read because it shows no personality and character. all that is known is that they are extremely hard and block many paths and cave and ancient ruins
they are psychic type
the first evolves into the second at level 35

maybe the 2nd one could be like a huge obstacle in a story, like the evil team uses them to block the paths and a certain thing has to be done to mvoe them, like a dark type certain move or something

ikr, it makes the adventure/journey more fun for the player. Can't get past Snorlax unless you have the PokeFlute which can't be obtained without going through the Lavender Tower and with Kecleon it can't be gotten rid of without battling it and meeting Steven beforehand, and on that note there are more than 2 if i am correct in the area.
