I wanted to do something like this for a while now, and now I did it. I actually REALLY like how Pinkie turned out, but I'm not to thrilled about the shoes on Rarity, Rainbow, and Fluttershy. Anyways, here we go!

Twilight Sparkle:

Weapon: E-Liter 3K
Sub: Burst Bomb
Special: Echolocator

Headgear: Black Arrowbands (Zekko) - Tenacity
Clothes: Shirt and Tie (Splash Mob) - Special Saver
Shoes: School Shoes (Amiibo) - Ink Saver Sub

To me, Twilight seems like a total sniper. She would want the best range, but she also seems as if she would prefer not to have a scope because she would want to be a no-scope person and challenge her skill with the E-Liter 3K. I also think she would like the Echolocator to see where her enemies are and the Burst Bombs in case her camping spot is invaded. Based on the new movie, she's always wearing her glasses, not just wearing them to see what's on the board, so she must be far sighted, that's why I gave her the Black Arrowbands. I also gave her the Shirt and Tie with the School Shoes because those look like formal and smart clothing items, and that's what she is, smart. Smart with her abilities too, Tenacity to help her team when in danger, Special Saver to make sure her Special doesn't lose much when she dies, and Ink Saver Sub for when her spot is found.

Rainbow Dash:

Weapon: Berry Splattershot Pro
Sub: Suction Bomb
Special: (Suction) Bomb Rush

Headgear: Camo Mesh (Firefin) - Swim Speed Up
Clothes: Layered Anchor LS (SquidForce) - Run Speed Up
Shoes: Purple Hi-Horses (Zink) - Special Duration Up

Rainbow was a tricky one to do. I know she likes going fast, so I could've given her the Inkbrush, but she seems like a person who likes to use bombs and guns especially. I gave her the Berry Splattershot Pro because it's very colorful, like her, and it has the Suction bombs for specific placement. I feel like she would like the Bomb Rush because she could just chuck bombs anywhere she pleases. That's why she has Special Duration Up so she can use her Special more. I had to give her gear that had Run and Swim Speed Up because she loves to go fast. She would totally wear a cap (it looks like it says "juicy" XD). I believe she would wear a long sleeved shirt under a short sleeved shirt and Basket Ball like shoes.

Fluttershy:

Weapon: Splattershot Jr.
Sub: Splat Bomb
Special: Bubbler

Headgear: Squid Hairclip (Amiibo) - Swim Speed Up
Clothes: Retro Sweat (SquidForce) - Defense Up
Shoes: Red Hi-Horses (Krak-On) - Ink Resistance Up

When I think of Fluttershy battling, I think of pacifist Taloupe. Fluttershy wouldn't want to splat anyone, but if she does, she would apologize on the spot. Being so, she would have the trusty weapon, the Splattershot Jr. to ink the turf. She would use bombs, but only for protection. That's why she would totally have the Bubbler as a Special so she can protect herself. She protects herself with her gear to with Defense Up to defend herself, Swim Speed Up so she can quickly get out of a sticky situation, and Ink Resistance Up so she doesn't get completely stuck in enemy ink. She would totally wear a sweater, and since the Retro Sweat has a picture of Judd the cat on it and she loves animals, she'd definitely wear it. She also seems like she would wear that Clip and Hi-Tops too.

Pinkie Pie:

Weapon: Luna Blaster
Sub: Ink Mine
Special: Inkzooka

Headgear: Bobble Hat (Splash Mob) - Quick Super Jump
Clothes: White Striped LS (Splash Mob) - Quick Respawn
Shoes: Squid Girl Shoes (The Squid Girl) - Swim Speed Up

Anyone who knows mlp knows that Pinkie is the most fun and wild one of them all, so she would be the one to goof off, slow walk, pose when she splats someone, start squid parties, and sit in the chairs in squid form on Piranha Pit during battles. I believe she would like Blasters because they make a cool firework at the end of your shot, and she would totally love that. The Luna Blaster is the perfect set up for her. The Luna looks super cool and it's named after Luna, so of course she would use it. She would love the Ink Mines because she can place them underneath someone super jumping and around the enemy spawn. The Inkzooka is basically like a big canon, and Pinkie Pie has a party canon, it also sounds like "Bazooka" like the bubble gum, so she totally would use it. She'd wear fun clothes like the Bobble Hat, Squid Girl Shoes, and a long sleeved striped shirt with a pocket. She uses Quick Super Jump and Respawn so she can get back to the battle and Swim Speed for that too.

Applejack:

Weapon: Krak-On Splat Roller
Sub: Squid Beakon
Special: Kraken

Headgear: Safari Hat (Forge) - Last-Ditch Effort
Clothes: Sky-Blue Squideye (Tentatek) - Cold Blooded
Shoes: Octoling Boots (Cuttlegear) Special Saver

The one and only Applejack would definitely be the best at battling. She is a complete offensive fighter and the Roller is the king of offensive weapons. The Kraken is also a very personal and face to face Special too. She'd also help her team any way she can, so she'd place Beakons so her teammates can super jump to them. She is naturally strong, so she could've used the Dynamo, but for those two other reasons of the Kraken and Beakons, she doesn't. And again, she's naturally strong, so I could've given her Damage Up, but she doesn't need it. She uses other abilities because of that reason. Smart about her abilities, she has Last-Ditch Effort because she's like "go big or go home", Cold Blooded so she isn't tracked as easily, and Special Saver so her Special isn't affected when she gets splatted. Because Cooler Heads doesn't have a cowgirl hat, the Safari Hat is the next best thing. To me, she would wear a short sleeved shirt with an arm band, and since she's a cowgirl, she would totally wear boots.

Rarity:

Weapon: .52 Gal Deco
Sub: Seeker
Special: Inkstrike

Headgear: Special Forces Beret (Forge) - Opening Gambit
Clothes: Octo Tee (Cuttlegear) - Haunt
Shoes: Punk Cherries (Rockenberg) - Bomb Sniffer

The most fabulous one of them all stays fabulous even when battling. She uses the .52 Gal Deco because it's a good weapon for attacks, but it's also bedazzled with rhinestones. She uses Seekers and the Inkstrike to deal with enemies at a distance and so she doesn't have to do ALL the dirty work herself. Rarity would obviously have all her gear with triple star rarity. She has fabulous gear, of course. She definitely would wear the fancy Beret. You would think she would wear the Squid Girl Tunic because it's a dress, but she wears the Octo Tee because it's triple rarity and the writing on the shirt is in sequins or rhinestones, so she totally would go for that instead. And the Punk Cherries are stylish looking boot-like shoes. She also makes sure to have good abilities on her gear too. She has Opening Gambit to make a big start, Haunt to get revenge, and Bomb Sniffer to stay away from possible clothes staining explosives.
