Blackjack is, by far my favorite fanfic character to date, despite being a black and red Alicorn OC. XP-----------------------------
When this lovley little piece was mentioned to me I had to get a copy of her. I thought this would be a good opertunity to dabble into the world of 3D printed stuff. I have to say, this figure has made me appreciate 3D printing in a whole new light. This was an absolute delight to paint even though the surface texture is not uniform. I was shocked at how light (18.5 grams total) but how resilient and tough the material is.
I know Blackjack's cybers are supposed to be much darker but black is such a boring colour to paint. Thats why i've gone for a more blue tone to the armour and tried to create a "reflective" look. I could have spent 10+ hours sanding ans smoothing but...eh. I just wanted something cool to paint.

To be fair her being an Alicorn happens way into the story. She starts as a unicorn, a unicorn with a hilariously undersized horn.
This is absolutely amazing though. She has a great pose, and her body is crafted just perfectly. The fact that the pipbuck even has a display, in 'New Vegas Amber' at that, is a fabulous touch.

You kidding? There's hundreds of side stories based in the same universe written by other authors. EQD has to make compilation posts regularly to keep up with them. www.equestriadaily.com/2012/01β¦ .
The most popular are the original, Project Horizons, Heroes, Murky Number 7 and Pink Eyes. Pink eyes and the original are the only ones that have finished.

Oh my gosh that is so beautiful! The details in the armour, those metal feathers, his goggles and that sword are all so amazingly made! The dynamic pose of the piece really enhances the entire piece. Awesome work!
