Alyssa and her bay mare Nevriye had after a long flight over the Atlantic Ocean finally arrived at the world class equestrian center in the outskirts of New York City- Crosby Stables. Alyssa had booked herself and the mare in for a week long clinic, or training camp, in order to qualify for the glamourus Champions Leauge. Alyssa had booked the clinic almost a year earlier, as it was almost fully booked all the time, and all of summer she had waited for that one week. She had been lucky to win a cup in Sweden last year that paied for the clinic, but the plane ticket over had still cost her most of her savings- But it was worth it for Aly.

The schedule for the clinic was packed with different lessons, both from theory to practice and Aly hadn't slept so well for a long time, being exhausted after the long days. At day four, Wednesday, they had a rather early session with rythm and distance. Aly knew this was something she and Nevriye really needed, the bay mare being both strong and hot headed towards the fences. The trainer, Peter Crosby, really went all in to show Aly what to do. He gesticulated big with his hands, living himself in the moment, as if it was he who sat on the eager mare, seeking out the next pole as if it was a large jump. But Aly didn't complain, sometimes he made the participants laugh and that made them all feel more at ease and not feeling the pain in legs and shoulders. He was very easy going and both gave good and constructive advice. It was only one of the participants he was truly hard towards, making the others look away quietly. Aly soon realized it was Peters own son, and at that she was happy her own parents weren't more interested in her riding except that she had fun.

Alyssa needs to qualify for
So she and Nevriye is at the Crosby Grand Prix Show Jumping clinic ! This is the first drawing of two required. They story is a bit short, because i want a story to it, but this story is a bit outside the main plot that I have. But it's in the sime timeline - so autumn- Might change it later on, from different stories or interactions with others.
People older than 25 are a bit hard to draw, and I don't really know what Peter is doing, he was described as whimsical and then I thought of this trainer I had when I was young that always showed with ALL OF HER BODY whe one was supposed to do. So i kinda wanted that feel as well here
