I just want all you photoshop users to know gimp won't go down without a fight. This is more a "statement" piece then an awesome piece of art. The background is empty so if you have any idea's I'd appreciate it. I'm not saying photohsop is bad, but after downloading it I came to realize that even thought it's a more advance program it doesn't allow you to freely create anything. Too many rules that you have to follow when all I really want to do is make something artistic
I think I'll stick with gimp so- QUIT TRYING TO GIVE ME THE SERIAL!

gimp owns indeed, since photoshop didn't allow me to install a legal trial of cs3... (sometimes adobe is just like microsoft)

I LOVE Gimp! I had a PS trial at first, then I downloaded Gimp and tried to go back to PS... and I couldn't do it XD! I was just like, 'wait, what does this button do again?'

I used to use GIMP for my coloring, and I have to agree, it's fucking awesome. I really only use Photoshop for my coloring and web graphics.

Man, the GIMP is my life. But something's happened with my computer, and it'll come up with a 'sorry, but the GIMP2.4exe needs to close, Microsoft is sorry for the inconvenience' before the start-up's even there. SO, all you people (I can't believe I'm saying this) with un-needed PS serial codes, I'd be happy to take them off your hands

Photoshop can do all gimp can, and more. If gimp owned as much, photoshop wouldn't be pretty much the highest standard in web/graphic design.

Gimp is free, does everything and more than photoshop can do, and doesn't eat up a lot of ram, people just see one person use photoshop, and are stupid enough to think that its actually better, pssh

i love it i am getting linux this weekend with gimp installed to it my friend put it together for me in a download for my laptop......the art peice is great.....the next one you should do is if you have linux have the peguin beating up the windows sign.....

GIMP is REALLY easy. I tried working with Photoshop on my mom's laptop and it was as hard as hell to figure out how to use the brush tool.

Most people find photoshop better but I've always been more of a vector artist so I haven't found much use for photoshop.
