Once I started, I couldn't stop! I have been drawing BunyipFlip's FakΓ©mon all day. It's been good fun! Definitely getting excited about the UK release of Diamond/Pearl now

My intention is to practice Ken Sugimori's drawing style on one or two of these, and try to present artwork as official as possible.
Sadly, I have only ever come up with one Fakemon of my own, so I'm just going to have to do everyone else's!

I once made up a "Fakemon" before Red & Blue came out in Blighty but he was kinda crappy, though had the Fighting/Psychic dual type long before they did!
And you should still do yours, because now you've mentioned it.

No, seriously... it was called Thermonuclearmissilemon. It had four attacks... self destruct, explosion, fire blast and water gun!
Now that I think about it, I also came up with the Eevee evolution, brought about using the Holy Stone - Christeon.

Hehe, you reimagined a few. I love the designs you gave Greaper and Thundroud, and your style fits these guys really well. Not to sound like a slavedriver, but keep 'em coming!

Here's what I did. Feel free to steal the method!
1. Researched how official PokΓ©mon are drawn. That was fun
2. Took the basic ideas behind your characters, and drew basic body shapes in some kind of pose.
3. Started drawing them as if I had come up with the idea! Sounds cheeky, but it helps with the reimagining process. For example, I wouldn't have given Sireen a bosom, or Greaper a scythe.
4. Went back to your designs and added anything that needed to be there, such as Poppa's hair, or Byssnu's bracelets. Finished up and darkened the main lines!
Out of curiosity... it's Bobo supposed to evolve into Greaper? Because they look like they should be related

Bobo does evolve into Greaper, yup! Bobo's like some weakling Pokemon with bad stats but Wonder Guard, then it becomes this sort of grim reaper thing with a cool scythe when it "toughens up."
I actually implimented some of your ideas back into my own--you kinda inspired me to finish drawing all of my Pokemon. So when I sat down and did the starters, rather than rush through it like I did in the other two submissions, I bothered to sketch it out, take my time, try and make them more "Pokemon" rather than just cartoonish. It seemed to work out for the most part, and I'm glad. I'm, once again, really flattered by your work, especially that you took some liberties. That's the mark of a true appreciator

After finding and reading your more detailed descriptions in that Word DOC, I may redo some of them. They need to be drawn bigger anyway if I'm going to finish them
