...There are some things which make me really sad.
Using a living creature as if it had no feelings, just to make money with it is just one of them.
(This should not mean, that riding in general is bad ... and sorry for my English^^)

I can't stand when people do that its sick. They get reallyΒ mad if their horse rears, but its because of the pain from a bit. My little mare isn't as broken of spirit as some of the other horses I've seen and its sad. They just stand their with no fight left in them. I ride in aΒ rope halter because I can and I don't need pain to control a horse, all I need is respect and trust, that's how people should ride.

My own horse made some bad experiences 15 years ago and she still seems to remember that from time to time ... People need to understand that if they hurt an animal once it will influence their whole life. They have feelings just like us.Β

They don't forget, their pretty smart. Some people think of them as just tools and its really hard to watch. My mother and sister, get this evil look in their eye's every time they see a trainer whipping and kicking, and yelling at their horses.
