Personnality:

Onyx is someone who needs action in his life. He tends to be afraid to be bored. So he is always to be found doing something on Aka's boat. May it be cleaning, training or playing violin. Any activities he will do, he will enjoy it. So he is a bit hard to keep in place. But if he is entertained, he can sit in place. If he has nothing to do, he might even get anxious. But his irrationnal need to always be doing somthing is starting to calm down since a few months.

He hasn't lost all of the manners he learned as a fairy. So, despite his carefree attitude he developped, he stays well mannered and polite. So he sometimes surprises people when they learn that he is a pirate. So, he still bows down and kiss hands when he meet a lady. Even if he knows he could ditch the formalities, he kind of enjoys using them. It always surprise people and he love doing so. It proves him that his life isn't boring anymore.

He is quite carefree. The life he has now is everything he wished for. So he doesn't worry much about the rest. He is not afraid to lose what he acquired. Aka's crew is his new family now and he appreciates it deeply. So he is also very thankful of what life has to offer to him. In his mortal life, Kaibu was born in a noble family of silver fairies, the Silvans. He was raised into being a noble with good manners. The Silvans were also known to be very traditionnal fairies even if they were influence by noble elves and humans custom. Despite having a very confortable life compared to numerous fairies, it was a very boring one. Kaibu had to spend his days reading, learning manners and learning violin. The Silvans were making him ready to pursue the family business and were even looking to find him a suitable wife. Sadly, that wasn't the call of Kaibu. One day, he shared his desire to go explore the world and find his own wife. His family was inraged at this confession. They forced him to stay home and was eventually married in an arrange wedding. It was for many a perfect life. Being the son of a rich family with a wonderful wife. Many envied him, but Kaibu wasn't happy. This life had no real passion or love. Everything was for business. He eventually became numb to his life. Unhappy. Unfulfilled. One day, as his was walking in the forest with his wife, he found some poisonous berries. He though he could have a bit of action or a feeling in his life if he ate a few. He underestimated the berries and ate a couple too much. He found death in his dumb decision.

But he found life as an incubi. He was very confused at first. There was people of so many colors around him, greeting him and having pity for him. When they explained to him what he was and how they came to be, he understood. All this mortal life of his was a loveless one, focused on business and apperances. To further emphasis his new life, he found a knife and cut his long hair. He had no desire for it since he wasn't a silver fairy anymore. The transformation was radical, but incubus and succubus praised him for it. It was a sign he was already taking his own life under control, along with taking the new name of Onyx. It was a pleasing feeling for him since he had support in his personnal decision instead of being shut down. Not long after, he met Pyrop. The two of them became good friends after a while. The carefree nature of Onyx made it easier to support Pyrop's personnality. When Onyx learned of Aka's crew, he invited Pyrop to join him in this new adventure. And this is how Onyx became part of a pirate crew. It was so freeing for him. No formalities, freedom, the world at his reach. It was everything he had hoped for. He was even free to experiment with the violin. So free that he developped the habit to dance as he plays it. He even got to learn how to use a sword. He discovered many joy the life could bring him. As years past, he decided he would settle for the pirate life as there was always something new to experiment and so many adventures to tell. So many inns to visit and so many woment to discover. He wasn't forced to chose one or to settle for one. It was pleasing for him to discover what he liked or disliked in a woman. One day, he would found the wife he deserved, but for now, he will enjoy his life as a free man.
