Your ROXAS unit is programmed to be able to do any of the following:

SPORTS JOCK: ROXAS units are the most active of the Organization series, aside from a DEMYX unit in Hyper mode.  They're very good in basketball games and skateboarding outings.  Be sure to have your ROXAS unit on your team if you want to win.  Note that when activating SPORTS JOCK while your ROXAS unit is in Irritated mode, he may end up doing more harm, such as catapulting a basketball at your face, and then claiming that 'his hand slipped.'

BODYGUARD: ROXAS units are very fierce protectors of their owners.  In any threatening situation, your ROXAS unit will summon his Keyblade (or Umbrella if you have confiscated his Keyblade) and hack your aggressor to pieces.  A unique feature about the ROXAS unit is that he can also perform ranged attacks.  He will not hesitate to ride his skateboard to the enemy before performing a quadruple flip and landing on their face.

PARTY ATTRACTION: ROXAS  units are incredibly popular among fangirls. The next time you have a party, spread the word that a ROXAS unit will be there and watch the fangirls flock to your doors.  Be cautious, for there have been reports of ROXAS units going missing after parties.

BOYFRIEND: Once you unlock your ROXAS' unit Emotional mode, you will find that he becomes more friendly, and willing to share his Munny with you.  ROXAS units are not passionate lovers, but their bonds of loyalty to you will strengthen, and you will find their skill in battle to sharply increase if you are in danger.  In the case that your ROXAS unit offers you Sea-Salt Ice Cream, accept the gesture.  It increases the chance of unlocking BOYFRIEND mode permanently, even with an AXEL unit around.  Note that if an AXEL unit has already made contact with your ROXAS unit, BOYFRIEND mode will be near impossible to unlock afterwards.

Modes:
ROXAS units appear to have many other modes, due to their unique programming.
These are the most common modes your ROXAS unit will enter:

Serious (default setting)
Relaxed
Upset/Depressed/Angsty(level two lock)
Irritated/Angry (level two lock)
Happy (level three lock)
Rebellious (level four lock, activation not recommended)
Emotional (level five lock)
Deadly (level ten lock, activation not recommended)

Your ROXAS unit defaults into Serious mode after you activate him.  Your ROXAS unit will be quiet and somewhat shy until he understands why he is here, and what his purpose is.  However, you can coax him into Relaxed mode by offering to play a round of basketball with him.  Always keep an extra pair of Organization uniforms or Casual wear nearby, for your ROXAS unit will want to rinse off after a hard game.

When your ROXAS unit enters Relaxed mode, you will find him to be more pleasant and willing to speak than his default mode.  He will often be found sitting on high places, looking at the scenery or out a window if he is confined indoors.  You can increase the chances of unlocking your ROXAS unit's Emotional mode if you spend time with him and enjoy a snack together.

It is not uncommon for a ROXAS unit to enter Depressed mode for no reason.  In most circumstances, the cause of your ROXAS unit's depression is the loss of a recently played game of basketball, or lack of attention.  You will find your ROXAS unit spending time around ZEXION units, or else holed up in a dark corner, often with a damp towel over their heads in a pathetic attempt to angst.  ROXAS units will be less likely to interact with you or any other units, but do not hesitate to try to cheer him up.  Interaction with an AXEL unit is guaranteed to put your ROXAS unit in a good mood, but greatly reduce the chances of unlocking Emotional mode.

Irritated/Angry mode is different that Depressed mode, though both behaviors are similar.  Angry mode is usually characterized by the presence of your ROXAS unit's Keyblade, as well as the destruction of any large electronics in the nearby vicinity (not limited to super computers).  Your ROXAS unit will also be more liable to snap at anyone who interacts with him.  It is best to let your ROXAS unit time to calm down.

ROXAS units rarely enter Happy mode of their own accord, but the chances are higher in the presence of another unit or person they are familiar with (most often AXEL units).  Spending time with your ROXAS unit will increase the chances of unlocking Happy and Emotional mode.  Impatient owners have been known to 'bribe' their ROXAS unit into Happy mode with massive amounts of sea-salt ice cream.  This method is not recommended, as it tends to make your ROXAS unit less lively.  This mode is characterized by your ROXAS unit being more willing to interact with others, and reduced sightings of him walking around with a damp towel on his head.

Your ROXAS unit will enter Rebellious mode if they've been forced into Irritated or Angsty mode at least five times in the same day.  This mode is nothing like the other units' Mischievous mode.  Your ROXAS unit will see fit to avoid any contact whatsoever, and in rare cases, even run away.  If you try to corner him, he will do considerable damage with his Keyblade to anything within arms length.  So far, the only known people he will make contact with while in this mode are AXEL units, XION units, and anyone who has unlocked Emotional mode with him.

Most Organization units are programmed not to have 'hearts,' but ROXAS units are special.  Unlocking Emotional mode usually results in your ROXAS unit falling for you, or else becoming very good friends if you are not his type.  You will find your ROXAS unit to be in his Happy mode a majority of the time, and more welcoming to other Organization units.  However, due to his programming, his 'feelings' are much more unstable in this state.  It would be very wise to respond to him as much as possible.  Most of the time, he will not do more than offer to buy you ice cream, or teach you to ride a skateboard.  Refusal will often send him into the arms of a nearby AXEL unit, or to a dark corner with his Angsty mode activated.

Deadly mode is activated once your ROXAS unit encounters a SORA unit or a XION unit in Rebellious mode.  After an intense battle, your ROXAS unit will sacrifice himself to the SORA unit, regardless of how badly either units are hurt. Your ROXAS unit will battle the XION unit three times, but will permanently be in Rebellious mode after the XION units dissipates.

Relationships with other units:
SORA: Do NOT allow your ROXAS unit to interact with any SORA units.  Doing so will unlock your ROXAS unit's Deadly mode, and will result in the loss of the unit.

XEMNAS: ROXAS and XEMNAS units are content with each other.  However, if you notice your ROXAS unit displaying nervous behavior, separate the two, and limit their interactions to a minimum.

XIGBAR: ROXAS units enjoy the company of XIGBAR units, but XIGBAR units have a tendency to annoy ROXAS units by calling them "little squirts."

XALDIN:  XALDIN units often frighten ROXAS units in first encounters, but they are content with each other's presence after they get to know each other.

VEXEN: VEXEN units adore ROXAS units as study material.  Interaction should be kept to a minimum, as there have been complaints of ROXAS units behaving differently after interacting with a VEXEN unit, as well as the loss of their Keyblade.

LEXAEUS: LEXAEUS units and ROXAS units are friendly toward each other.

ZEXION: ZEXION units and ROXAS units are indifferent toward each other.  However, ROXAS units will warm up to ZEXION units while they're in Depressed mode.

SAIX: ROXAS units are uneasy in a SAIX unit's presence.  Interaction between the two is risky, and may result in your ROXAS unit needing a Potion afterwards.

AXEL: ROXAS units and very good friends with AXEL units.  It is very common for an AXEL unit to show affection towards a ROXAS unit.  Regular interaction with an AXEL unit will keep your ROXAS unit in a good mood, but will make unlocking Emotional mode very difficult.

DEMYX: ROXAS units enjoy DEMYX units as acquaintances.  The DEMYX unit's outgoing personality is a good alternative to using sea-salt ice cream to cheer up a ROXAS unit in Depressed mode.  Interaction should be monitored, as DEMYX units have a tendency to enter Mischievous mode with ROXAS units around.

LUXORD: LUXORD units will con ROXAS units into playing poker with them.  LUXORD units have a tendency to strip ROXAS units of almost everything.  Interaction should be avoided, unless an AXEL or XEMNAS unit is nearby.

MARLUXIA: MARLUXIA units see ROXAS units in a similar manner as how VEXEN units view them.  However, MARLUXIA units will not be as discreet, and will attempt to assert his dominance over all Organization units once he gets his hands on a ROXAS unit.

LARXENE: LARXENE unit scare ROXAS units.  Interaction will leave your ROXAS unit quite paranoid and jumpy for the rest of the day.

Cleaning:
ROXAS units are very hygienic, and do not require assistance in washing.  However, they have a tendency to overuse shampoo and soap, so be sure to keep the washroom well-stocked.  Keep a close eye on any VEXEN and AXEL units in the vicinity.
ROXAS units are quite responsible, and will even wash their own clothes.

Feeding and Resting:
ROXAS units require regular feeding and rest, as they are not programmed like other Organization units.  ROXAS units thrive on the basic food pyramid, but are always happy with sea-salt ice cream.  However, encourage your ROXAS unit to eat regular meals.  Ice cream should not be used as their main diet.  Your ROXAS unit is capable of regulating his own bedtime hours.  However, you should step in if a XIGBAR, DEMYX, or AXEL unit tries to get your ROXAS unit to party with them.

A. ROXAS units have an penchant for checkerboard patterns.  They're on his wrist band and casual wear jacket.  You can curb his obsession by getting him outside with his skateboard, or playing basketball.  However, it is not unheard of having a ROXAS unit paint such patterns on the basketball, or on the underside of his skateboard.

Q. I found my ROXAS unit in a broom closet! What's wrong with him?

A. There can be two reasons for this.  One: You have a yaoi-obsessed fangirl in your home, has picked your ROXAS unit as an unfortunate partner for another male Organization unit.  It's best to keep a closer eye on your ROXAS unit in the near future.
Two: Your ROXAS unit is in Upset/Depressed/Angsty mode.  Take the damp towel off his head, and spend some time with him to cheer him up.  ROXAS units get lonely very easily.

Q. My ROXAS unit lost his Munny pouch, and there's no rational explanation.  Should I keep looking for it, or order a new one?

A. If your ROXAS unit has not interacted with a LUXORD unit recently, then rogue Riku/DiZ units are to blame.  DiZ units often send Riku units to pickpocket ROXAS units in Twilight Town.  You can order a replacement, and convince your ROXAS unit to let you hold onto his Munny while he travels in Twilight Town.

Q. My ROXAS unit won't leave my AXEL unit alone (and vice-versa).

A. First, that is a statement. Second, ROXAS units and AXEL units are highly compatible with each other.  Please refer to the AXEL unit's manual.

Q. I think something's wrong with my ROXAS unit.  He's missing the Organization cloaks, and keeps attacking my other Organization units!  He also seems to be permanently locked into Happy mode.  How can I fix this?

A. It appears that you have been sent a SORA unit by mistake.  You will notice that he does not respond to any name that begins with "R," nor does he like spending time with any of your Organization units.  It is in your best interest to deactivate him, and sent the SORA unit back.  A ROXAS unit will be sent back in place.
