Anubis is one of my #1 gods in the Egyptian culture of old. The design is awesome and the cell shade is just sweet!!

You did great following the light source; it looks like you are still a little scare to unleash yourself with the shading though; I would take more chances; add some texture, things like that.

Hahahaha thanks a bundle, though it was more like a fluke that I managed to get the light source correct seeing as I am horrible at shading. But textures yes that would be grand, I just got to get my head around on how to do it and make it look good...but I well keep it in thought.

The easy rigged way for doing it is creating a clipping mask, setting it to overlay, 30% opacity and filling it with a pattern. However the professional and best way to do is to use brushes and play around with the blending modes; your own custom brushes are always the best
