Peace be upon you,here is the Second course of "Understanding Islam for dummies" introduced by teacher Miss Noor:
It's not easy to summarize a huge religion such as Islam in just 9 panels so I tried to make things simple and focus on the basics.
I tried to make it very simple, easy and a little funny.
for non-muslims, I hope this will let you learn something new about Islam. for my muslim brothers and sisters, I hope ou enjoy it too.

Panel two made me think BIBLE FIIIIIIGHT, but I digress (the crusades were pretty bad for both sides), this is simple, informative, and clean.
Will you be covering the different dogmas of Islam as well?

Other than the differen dogmas, I really can't think of anything specific, except for maybe Koran related querries on what it says on things like marriage (I know it allows polygammy but I don't know the specifics), diet (I know it disproves of pork much like the Jewish Old Testament), and things like that. Just academic curiosities.

and a question came to mind: how can it be the same God of christianity and jews if Jesus Christ says he's the messiah, God's only son, and he's less important than muhammad?
for what i know, a couple days ago, 500 christians were killed by peaceful muslims in Niger, now thats peaceful.

actually, this is a wrong translation of the holy quran. many non-muslims misunderstood the real concept of islam. killing is a sin, no matter if you killed the muslims or the non muslims. and there's no such religion in the world which allow killing other devoters for the sake of god. and just like ~FullWhiteMoon said, not all muslims are following islam well. for every misdeed done, you should blame it to the people, not the religion.
actually, Jesus is a prophet of muslims too. but Muhammad is the last prophet sent to earth by the gods. his duty is to provide guidance to the muslims and the last ummah(us). we bellieve there's no prophet after Muhammad.
about the thing happened in Niger, okay. you got a point. but what about Palestine? Afghanistan? Iraq? don't you want to say something about that? 300 people in Niger while more of our muslims brother were killed in Palestine, does CNN says something about that? explain that to me.
it's sad to think that the people discriminate us just because of our religion. blame the people, not the religion. for every misdeed done, the religion is not the one to blame. it's the people.

he is the same God, but the early christians changed what was revealed to Jesus Christ(peace be upon him) that's why God sent another prophet: Muhammad(peace be upon him)
but you are free to believe what you feel convinced about.

Hart asserted that Muhammad was "supremely successful" in both the religious and secular realms. He also opined that Muhammad's role in the development of Islam was far more influential than Jesus' collaboration in the development of Christianity..."
as for what happened in Niger, I'd like to tell you first, not all muslims are following Islam well and second, not all news are true. when thousands of muslims are killed in Palestine, cnn doesn't say a word. and when someone is killed by a muslim, all western media talk loud. this is double standard.

I prefer to focus on explaining Islam to non-muslims. and I prefer not to focus on the differences between muslims... but I may make something about that later.

Awesome li'l comic! I actually knew a lot of this already because I took theology courses in High School and College, but I really like how you did this! It makes it educational and fun.
The stereotypical Muslim warrior you drew is a lot like the pics I've seen in history books, although the ones I've seen were much worse.
